When I Put down a daylight sensor, I invert it. When it is daytime, sometimes it still sends a redstone signal to the glowstone lamp.

However, this is not how they work in Minecraft "Java Version" 9.1 and before... The inverted mode is meant to invert the signal, not take the difference and give this as the signal.
