VR controls messed up

I have not played Minecraft in VR for months so I don't know what version this issue started. I tried using the controls like I normally did however the escape button was not behaving the way that it did the last time I used VR mode. Did the control scheme in VR mode change? If so what was the cancel button on an Oculus Rift? I'm NOT using the Oculus Rift S or any other headset, just the Oculus Rift. The button for going into living room view worked fine but the escape key was not working even after pressing many buttons on my Touch controllers. I also couldn't see my inventory because a block was partially in it.  I can not provide a screenshot at this time but can later on.

Mojang / Microsoft have pretty much abandoned the VR community, unfortunately.  All you can really do is go back to 1.16.100 using a tool such as https://github.com/MCMrARM/mc-w10-version-launcher  - It's open-source, but of course, do your own research on it and virus check it, etc.

You won't be able to access realms of your current worlds unfortunately, but you will (for now) still be able to access featured servers.

'm afraid we cannot help you with issue on Windows Phone. This platform is no longer supported, see https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/article/important-news-regarding-minecraft-mobile

Sorry it's not a Windows Phone issue.  I couldn't find the option for VR when reporting the bug.  I stated in my report that it's a Oculus Rift VR I'm using.  I've updated it and put it as Windows 10.  Shouldn't there be a separate category to issue it as VR since playing it on desktop mode works fine?
