Rectangular pits with rounded bottoms can be found very frequently in Minecraft worlds. In small bays, on cliffs, and on hillsides (basically wherever the larger mountains have been put in place), small inlets spawn. All of them are rather deep and are square. I have attached a picture from one I found in a bay for reference of what I am talking about. The ones on the cliffs are usually a bit smaller. I think this is an overall problem with symmetry because I see minor symmetry on the mountains too.

Could you please provide some seeds and coordinates there this happens? Perhaps with examples where this didn't occur beforehand?

I lost the old world due to my computer having an aneurysm, so I don't have the exact coordinates from where that pit is. I redownloaded MC Bedrock Beta and attempted to find what I saw in that first world once more, however, I was unable to find the same amount of these pits. I'm not sure why.
Before my computer broke, I could load a world and I would be able to find a multitude of these (that's probably why I didn't post a seed and coordinates; I found these everywhere, so I didn't think it was necessary).
However now, I can barely find one. The only artifact I was able to find was at 1829, 81, 1358 in the world seed -876401267. This is a little square hill peeking above the water. Its shape is symmetrical and is kind of like the square pits but not even close to that magnitude. I'm sorry I was unable to replicate it.
I hope the nanoparticle of information I gave was able to help a bit. I'll remember to post more information on bug reports in the future.

The fact is that this is a new feature of the mountains. New mountains very often spawn where the ocean used to be, and because of this feature, such a generation appears.
Not sure if this is a bug.
