Steps to Reproduce:
Place a Pointed Dripstone;
Start mining it and closely pay attention to the animation.
Observed Results:
The mining animation is displayed in a separate (invisible) triangle shape, causing the entire thing to be scaled down and be cut off in weird ways.
Expected Results:
The mining animation is only visible when intersecting a visible pixel in the texture, without any separate shape.
Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes
Notes: Other cross models like cobweb and sweet berry bushes will display the animation in a square UV, completely disregarding the texture shape.

I would assume that this is actually working as intended, as blocks having the breaking animation outside of their texture is considered a bug in Java Edition (MC-142156).
