I have the SAME issue except for it’s happening on my Nintendo Switch!!! My iPad 6 logs in just fine but my switch says everything you posted with either Code: Drowned or Code: Creeper. This has been for the past TWO weeks now. I kept thinking it’d get fixed but it hasn’t. I’m getting so annoyed. All of my accounts are on my microsoft including minecoins already purchased. Microsoft said if I can sign in on one platform but not another it’s not them. I’ve already spoken to Minecraft and they confirm issues with Mojang. Please fix this! I’m glad it’s not just me though. I was a half second from pitching my Switch out the window in frustration.

I'm so sorry about that. We don't know for sure when the issue would be fixed because we aren't the ones fixing the issues. We just carry them over to the people who do 🙂
Instead of waiting for the issue to be fixed, we can try to make the issue go away right now.
1. Have you tried to delete the application, and see if that would help? The option should be in Settings>General>Storage>look for the app and use the option "Delete app". It would clear all data including cache, which, I assume, would fix the issue. Then you would install the game again and you should be able to log in without any troubles.
2. Maybe try to create a new account and log in with it?
3. If I'm late to the party and you have already tried to do previous steps, can you tell me if you've tried any other workarounds, and with what results?
For how long the issue has been occurring? Ever since you installed the game the first time, or the issue came with an update? What was the last version that was working fine for you?

Option 1: we do not want to delete the app because we also lose all the worlds that have been build for the last few years. That would be devastating so surely a no-go.
Option 2: when creating a new user account we lose all settings and credits we previously accumulated, surely we do not want that. That is also like starting over.
Option 3: No, we really tried everything but there are more and more users having these problems. Please look more closely into the error code that is being generated. Surely you can have a look in the source code to see what is going wrong when this code is being generated? I was a programmer for many years in a previous job and debugging was part of my daytime job, I am sure you can also simulate this error message and debug / find out what is happening?
This issue came up with the last update. My daughter and I play this game for over 5 years now but since the last update my daughter cannot log into Minecraft anymore on her iPad. I also play Minecraft on a Samsum Tab and have no problems with the last update. Also on PC no problems but since we also play together on Realms, this is now no longer possible.

You can actually save the worlds before uninstalling the game. See instructions here: Transferring Minecraft worlds to another device – Home
You know you don't lose any personal achievements, purchases or persona info when logging out, right? They are saved to your account. 😃 And saved worlds are local to the game installed so you won't lose them too when just logging out.
We unfortunately do not have access to tools that do that, our responsibilities are different, so we can't see what exactly is happening wit the code. I logged the issue to our internal service, so we only can wait for them to fix it.

Seeing what is written in the issue considering Creeper error, MCPE-120334, I honestly have no idea what should we do in your situation. It seems that nothing works to workaround this. Thank you for the information though!

I have tried all of the above, adding Mincraft to the allow storage, tried signing in from the settings instead of the start screen.. keep getting the pufferfish error.
I was never asked to enter initial login information at any point in time so I don't know how to even provide my login details, let alone change them. There is no place to enter a code, as G-9 suggested. It just tells me it wont connect to the Microsoft account (which I guess makes sense, since it doesn't know what to connect to...)

I am having the same issue as Hazwan is having where I can't login (Pufferfish error) or play any of my worlds. This is a major bug and we need a patch asap for this because some of us want to play and can't. if I make another bug report it will be about not being able to play any worlds at all. I will add the pufferfish screenshot to this but make another report about not even being able to play any worlds.
