On my friend's realm, we've noticed that every few times we open the realm, items from our inventory are missing. It kinda sucks because we've lost a lot of valuables due to this.

Does MCPE-55815 describe your issue?
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete.
