I was walking around in my minecraft world. I gave the / locate command to find a ruin. I saw that the sugar canes were floating in the water.

This is probably fixed.
Both the reports with affects versions .54 have images that show the game is in version .52
*The "targeting block adjacent to place" method doesn't work anymore

New areas are generated without Sugar Canes, and in old ones it gradually breaks! I also confirm what @unknown said above
