Sugarcanes drop but when picked up do not appear in inventory

Just to add to this report - I have just opened a crafting table and the option of making paper and sugar was there. So the Cane is obviously in my inventory. But not showing visually. As a result I cannot plant them.

My inventory wasn't full. I know this because I empty my mined stuff into chests before farming. I never have full inventory I'm very careful not to. Thanks for the tip though. I will try dying.

Because the issue is very similar, however it was "Duplicate" of MCPE-9960. Comment in the comment section there, if you want to talk about this issue.

A solution that isn't as drastic as dying - and the resulting loss of xp. I turned it all into sugar. Then went to the farm again and the Cane showed in the inventory. Cheers.
