You can place the following blocks on candles, which isn't supposed to like on Java:

  • Torches

  • Snow layer

  • Buttons

  • Lever arm

  • Coral

  • Scaffolding

  • Bell

  • Rails

  • Tripwire hook

  • Repeater

  • Comparator

  • Redstone dust

  • Doors

  • Pointed dripstone

  • Glow Lichen

  • Big Dripleaf (related to MCPE-123392)

  • Sculk Veins (experimental only for now, related to glow lichen since they share the same block states)
