[MCPE-14215] Item getting replaced

I dont specifically remember what phone i have, but i have this weird glitch that i got 40 something stone then when i looked back it was all gone. can you fix this

Yeah I've had this happen. I keep losing my iron axes. Five so far, but other things as well. It's related to the duplication bug.

I too am experiencing this bug. To help the developers, please try to identify under what conditions an item is replaced. For example, I believe this is happening in build 4 when I pickup items from the ground and when I move them between inventory/chests (or between other interfaces). Sometimes, when I pick up items from the ground they disappear but are not put in my inventory. This might be related as well.

Ok here is how to reproduce consistently. Get an item, any item. Place it in hot bar slot 2,"use"(just hold the screen) the item and then what ever was in inventory slot 2 is now what ever was in hot bar slot 2, works with any of the 9 hotbar slots, consistently.
