Jukebox Not Ejecting Disc

I have a very simple redstone Jukebox setup that consists of little more than a pair of hoppers, a dropper, one redstone torch, some redstone dust, a lever, and a jukebox. It's design is supposed to loop two or more discs in the jukebox, by relying on the "output" the the jukebox ejecting the disc it has in it when it finishes playing, to trigger the redstone, with the lever for interrupting the circuit to turn it "off".

I have not yet tested this in Creative mode, but I do know it was working fine in my Survival world before the hotfix. I would get the expected behavior of the jukebox ejecting the disc into the redstone circuit, which would trigger the redstone circuit eventually placing a new disc in the jukebox.

After the recent hotfix, it no-longer seems to auto-eject the disc when done playing, but waits some length of time, and then replays the disc that was in the jukebox. This means the jukebox just sits and spins in it's own happy little world, with no way for my simple redstone circuit to detect when the disc has finished playing.

Is this the intended behavior? To my knowledge, all redstone builds that use jukeboxes have to either factor for, or directly utilize the auto-eject behavior. Did I miss a patch note?

I am going to test this in Creative mode, and either comment or update this report with whatever I find.**

EDIT:

I did some testing in Creative mode, and had confusing results. A Jukebox on it's own does not seem to eject the disc when done playing anymore, but did not seem to replay it, either.

I rebuilt my redstone build, and it functioned "normally" save for a massive load time between discs, over two minutes from the end of one, and the start of another.

I tested my old build, and it behaved much the same. I loaded back into Survival, and tested it there, and it took the longest of all to "switch" after the end of the first disc, but it did eventually.

Conclusion:

I have no idea what is going on. It seems like my redstone is functioning as intended, other than sudden massive lag that was not there before, but I still am not seeing the expected behavior from a standalone jukebox. To replicate this, open Creative mode, place a Jukebox, and put a disc in (I have been testing exclusively with "Cat" and "Wait"). To my understanding, the expected result is that the disc will be ejected when it is finished playing. I waited well over five minutes and did not see this result.

Leaving it up to a Mod to decide if this is valid or not. I hope it helps, and if not, I hope it doesn't waste anyone's time.

The same or similar issue was reported at MCPE-86029 but without much detail, and the report was never updated.

Can you provide a screenshot of the contraption that is not working?
Also, are you using vanilla music, or music provided with on a resource pack? (compare MCPE-47590)
