There is a donkey floating about a block off the ground and every time we get close to it it starts to spew out endless donkeys. it won't stop and we tried everything; harming potions, teleporting to the void, reloading the server, lava, suffocation, shutting off command blocks, riding it, leads- nothing works. All but the Source Donkey despawns if you get far enough away from them, but the moment you get near it again the Source Donkey starts spewing again. It's almost like the Source Donkey isn't actually a donkey itself, but merely an unbreakable source block
we do have the Source Donkey in a box filled with lava now as to kill any it spawns when we get near so it won't lag so hard. but Pandonkey's Box has caused a new problem where someone has to stay near the box at all times. if we don't, when we get near it Source Donkey spews so many donkeys at once that when they all die it lags the server to the brink of crashing.
We can't win by leaving it there, but it won't go away so the server's basically bricked, and i'm pissed cause i actually really liked this server
we can't find anyone else who has ever had a problem even remotely like this no matter what we search, so we're thinking we might be the first people to deal with this (and hopefully the last. i wouldn't wish this in my worst enemy)

Most likely a griefer placed a repeat command block somewhere that is spawning the donkeys. You look for the command block by making a copy of the world and setting it to creative mode. Then fly around and look for it, or run a command like /fill ~ -64 ~ ~80 319 ~80 glass 0 replace repeating_command_block as you move around. If the command succeeds you've narrowed down where the command block was.
Cleaning up old tickets: This ticket had been set to 'Awaiting Response', but has not received a response from the reporter (~3 months+) so is being closed as Incomplete. If you feel this is still a valid issue then please comment, or create a new ticket following the Issue Guidelines which includes steps to reproduce the problem.
