Greetings. Upon trying to the enter the end portal, my character did not go through but instead sat on the starry scene. Suddenly everyone in the realm, including myself, was disconnected from the server. When we logged back in, the server was reset to a few minutes prior - assuming the last backup save. I went to try to enter the end portal again and the disconnection occurred again.
As far as we know, we weren't spawning enough entities to cause the crash. There was only 4 people online at the time and they were doing their usual builds and such. We truly are u sure why this is suddenly happening as I went in and exited the portal just fine earlier today.

No I have no idea why the link says spoopy whatever. Twitch being weird i suppose. Also the version is whatever the most recent version was released in vanilla bedrock.

I just encountered this issue, I think. My daughter and I were on my realm and trying to farm more shulker boxes. I have a bridge through the nether to get to the end portal. One of us could go through fine. But the moment the other person tried they got stuck on the surface of the portal and then the server would boot us and roll back. Tried a few different times and did some save/quits right before going in to see if we could not get rolled back but it always fails. The server just puts us back where we started each time when we logged in. I'm on PC she's on Switch. Getting real old real fast.

This has happened to me multiple times on my server (the server freezes for me and I have to kill it with task manager). It seems to be random when this happens.
I don't want to have to make the End off limits on my server. Please fix this! Can confirm for 1.18.12.
If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.
On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds
On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)
Here are the steps to copy a world save on PlayStation:
Make sure your BLANK USB stick has been formatted to FAT32
On your PlayStation, go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device > Select Minecraft > Select Saved World to copy > Copy
This should then copy the world save to the USB, which you can share to a file sharing site such as OneDrive, and then share the link.
If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.
Happens a lot to me and has happened like 20 times where i enter to kill it again and I lose like 10 mins of progress which makes it annoying to lose it.
Thanks for keeping this ticket up to date - if you are able to provide a copy of the world save it would help us to reproduce and fix the issue you are hitting. Without it we may have to resolve the ticket as cannot reproduce. Thanks for your help and patience!
I've also had this happen twice on Switch v.1.18.10 (latest hardware update too).
Just as the OP has described: tried to enter the End Portal only to stand on the starry background and not have the 'area loading' screen pop-up. Then I get kicked from the Realm and reverted to the last backup when I log in.
This hasn't happened every time I have recently gone to the End. It might be related to having only recently exited a nether portal?
Incidentally, this is a real pain when it happens as I'm building some farms in the End and taking lots of resources so losing 28 minutes of crafting dispensers, pistons and dyed concrete powder is really frustrating.
To reduce the risk of this happening I'm having to wait up to 30 minutes before I go to the End each time for the game to backup. Obviously this is a very depressing way to play the game so hopefully this gets fixed soon.
(Add into this the fact that any technical farms I'm designed take even longer as I'm suffering from the bug where I can't download my realm backups)
