Lava touching water creates obsidian as well on top of stone

When the world is generated, the lava when touching the water instead also generating obsidian on top of the stone, which isn't supposed to happen. It should only be supposed to generate stone only...

This is not due to generation. This can also be done artificially by placing the lava above the water.

No, this only applies for world gen, not by manually placing the lava above the water.

Flowing lava (lava with liquid_depth =/= 0) should not change to obsidian at all—only lava sources should change to obsidian.

What’s happening right now though is that obsidian forms on top of the stone that generates from lava flowing on top of water. It’s not exclusive to world generation. Pretty sure this happened as a result of MCPE-128022 being fixed.
