Mobs are spawning in deep dark again.

After the latest update, Mobs are again spawning all over the deep dark. They seem to be following the lighting rules as I have over half of the city lit up but as I went in to clear more of the shriekers in areas I havent lit yet, They started appearing all over. What really got me was how many were spawning on top of the "portal statue" in the center of the city.

For what it's worth, I'm not seeing this happen in 1.19.51 on Windows 10. It could be Playstation-specific. Also, the southern branch of this Ancient City is fed by a large waterfall from a series of giant caves above which filled with mobs after 20 minutes. So some of the mobs could be cascading down from there. I have no explanation for any mobs on top of the city center Warden effigy, however.

As I was watching the witch and zombie on top of the centerpiece and the skeleton walking with a zombie at the floor level around the centerpiece, I looked over at the platform because a few of the sensors lit up. That was when I watched a group of 4 zombies spawn on the platform and then immediately they walked off in separate directions to the floor.

in picture PXL_20230202_004842400, this is lit up more than it was when they were spawning in multiple numbers. I had to light it to get the pic because they were spawning all over. On the walkway, under it, on the floor, etc. I couldn't get this picture without adding some light and what you dont see in this pic is the creeper, spider, and zombie whom all ducked to the right behind the wall of that structure. The spider then stepped out and despawned as I grabbed my phone for the pic.

I also must mention ANY area you see lit has had every hole, ledge, space or darkened area filled in and walled up and finally lit. This was what I was doing when I moved closer to get the ledge along the back left of the centerpiece. I was working my way around from the front (lit) side - left of the center and had reached the second carpeted walkway closest to the dark platform when I noticed the skeleton and zombie in the center. So I moved back to the place you see me in the picture to view what was going on and seen the others on top of the center. realized then I had to stop because that dark area is filled with sensors and shriekers. The 2 areas with the slimes are non stop. This is also my entrance location to the city from a tunnel system to the surface. The just keep spawning. If I kill them and move to the next section, they simply respawn new ones.

Ok I have a question. Do the cities and deep dark areas appear differently at random when generated. I ask because I made a new world using this seed and entered it in creative so I could test and explore the area. It looks way different than this world above. The center is in same place and several of the formations are close but there is way more skulk blocks and huge massive tunnels above at the far end of the area I have not currently explored in my world. In my world there is a small opening into a large cavern. I also have a huge mine system that extends out into my city with spider spawners on most of them. In the new seed there is a mine system but it is not near the edges of the city boundary. Also no mobs spawned in the new seed except in the caves along the walls and ceiling. There are however skulk sensors everywhere around the city and in the walls and tunnels all around it.
