I open resource packs folder and minecraft crashes everytime

This has only recently started happening to me and most of my friends on ios minecraft. But we cannot equip a resource pack because when we go into global resources —> my packs. As soon as we click my packs the game crashes. This happens everytime and it means I can’t make quality videos for youtube because I can’t equip a texture pack. I love making texture packs for minecraft too, but this has stopped me and made the game for me(in my opinion) unplayable. fix ASAP pls
