Minecraft on iOS requires you to not enable silent mode to hear sound

Minecraft on iOS requires you to not enable silent mode to hear sound. Basically this requires you to not have your ringer switch set to silent in order to hear sound.  This is the same for iPads as well.

Hello, no one has responded to my issue for a while now. Could someone please check on this? Update: someone checked

Could be intentional, silent mode on iOS is designed to mute game sound (from what I found on the internet)

@Mr MC 392 in iOS 17 on devices with no silent switch, the silent mode is in the settings, it does not say that game sounds would be muted.

Thank you for your report!
