Apple has planned to drop Rosetta 2 support in 2027 with the release of macOS 28, so this should not be left unfixed for too long, or Minecraft Java cannot be run using the official launcher on Mac when Rosetta 2 support is dropped.
On my desktop Mac with an external display, it is still working. It also has M2 Pro chip and a Samsung monitor was used for testing.
Still on 1.21.71
Regarding the comment mentioning that Apple devices hard cap their FPS, that is not true. This seems to be more of a Minecraft problem instead of an Apple problem, so Mojang has to fix this and not Apple. There are many games that can get 120fps on Apple devices, which proves that Apple does not hard cap their FPS.
Also affects 3.12.35 (Mac), apparently I really can’t edit or request to edit this.

It does not make sense that it doesn't melt when there is not enough light for the frost walker ice to melt even when it have been made by frost walker (not setblocked or anything like that), as it's supposed to be temporary and not related to light levels.
how come this is working as intended when the [java version of this issue|MC-269714] is marked as confirmed? @[[MCQA] Bartłomiej Słodkowski|https://bugs.mojang.com/secure/ViewProfile.jspa?name=baslod]
I think this should not be community consensus, on the java version of this issue it is already confirmed and it has 8 votes there and 2 votes here last checked as well that means a total of 10 votes.
Still like this on 1.20.4
From what I heard, Minecraft Bedrock probably still has VSync on by default (as of 1.20.51) and you have to go into config file to toggle it, it might be a problem with the VSync. If it's not, then there is probably a hard cap. Don't know if that is any use but hopefully yes
This should not be invalid
Hello, assuming there is probably an icon cache on Linux, did you try to clear it? (I have experienced on Mac that clearing icon cache was needed to see the new icon)
Contact support, the bug tracker is not for support requests. This would be a support request.
Still true for launcher version 2.15.23 with bootstrap version 1.7.2
I can confirm it does affect 1.20.4 so please add
This is still a problem on 1.20.50 and prevents things like 120fps on iPads with 120hz displays
Still true for latest launcher version 2.13.7 with bootstrap 1.6.2
Update: this is just a problem with a specific setting (on by default?) in AssistiveTouch
This seems to be due to Minecraft not being marked as a game in the Info.plist file in the app. Hopefully this can be easily fixed by doing just that.
