Water doesn't flow correctly until it's updated.

Water doesn't flow when it first flows in a hole and after it the hole gets block and shortly after you dig it back. It stays in the same position until it is updated. It doesn't even flow in a hole if there is one nearby. That's with all liquids(water and lava).

Here is a Youtube link that shows the problem: Water doesn't flow correctly

Does the issue occur only on one world, or all of your worlds, including newly created ones?

The issue occures also on a new world I just created

I can confirm the behaviors shown in the video are reproducible, but I expect this issue is working as intended. Water checks for places to spread only when it is first placed or when it is directly updated by an adjacent block update. It does not constantly check for changes to the surrounding terrain.

If the expected behavior were implemented (which might be considered a feature request), water would be very laggy and also much more difficult to work with. Each water block would always be checking a 4 block radius around itself for changes in the terrain, and that would add up to a massive amount of block checks. It would be impossible to create waterfalls within 5 blocks of each other.
