Major audio bug causing all sound within the game to be majorly distorted. The sound is similar to a fork scraping on a plate, or someone scratching into metal. This happened as soon as the 1.20 update was released, I checked all drivers, headset details, and audio settings on my PC. This is only happening with Minecraft and specifically only the Bedrock version. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game itself.

Do you use any external/additional audio software, for example for the headset you have?

I added my clip with Audio so mods can hear the issue!
For myself, i found that Razer's 7.1 Surround Sound app was causing my Minecraft to have an audio bug! No idea if this can be fixed on Mojang's end and no idea if anyone else uses it, but turning it to regular audio did fix it!

This problem persists for me. I use an Astro headset and route audio to an Astro Mixamp Pro TR with an optical cable for my main PC audio. When Minecraft launches it causes a problem with something either the two different audio channels the Mixamp has (Astro headset, Realtek digital audio) or something that causes the gain to increase on the PC.
my work around right now is linking AirPod Pros to pc and using those the audio is completely fine.
