When eating anything, the player can phase through blocks. This doesn't happen everytime and doesn't seem to have consistent reproduction methods, but it seems to require eating and moving at the same time. This occurs with any block, be they solid or non-full like stairs and slabs, and can cause unexpected deaths.
Observed results:
Eating while moving can cause players to phase through blocks.
Expected results:
The player should not be able to phase through blocks while eating.

Hi, I wasn't able to reproduce this, could you verify whether this still affects the latest releases? Also, please provide some additional info, plus clearly outlined steps on how to reproduce the issue, as it helps testers confirm its occurrence.Â
Attaching another video reproducing this in the latest version would also be greatly appreciated.Â
Please ensure you have no add-ons or behavior packs enabled, thanks.
This can also occur even when the player is not eating according to the example here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Minecraft/comments/1f0l8bb
Some people in the comments of this post have mentioned that this could be caused by rounding point errors with the players coordinates. This issue becomes more and more common the farther a player is from 0, 0. I cannot confirm if this is true though.
Thank you for your report!
