A lot of the time when you play the game on Windows 11 the sounds tend to glitch out. For example, sound direction doesn't work properly, sometimes sound is quieter, sometimes sound is cut off completely. This is most obvious while sprinting or eating. My guess to the cause is that Windows 11 is not using the Windows 11 formatting it is using Windows 10. This seems to affect all versions of the game. It is also noticeable when flying up with an Elytra, where sound cuts in and out. Strangely this only affects Windows 11 edition. When a sound is playing behind you, if you turn, instead of the sound gradually increases in volume, it doesn't change until its suddenly at 100%. This negatively impacts how I play as I cannot hear anything walking up behind me, I have died several times due to this bug. If I had a choice I would not play on this platform at all.

No, I do not use any sound software, I use system default. I do not understand why it happens but it’s been a bug for a while
From your description, this sounds like it could be an issue with surround sound. Are you experiencing this on a headset/headphones? If so, are they from Razer or Logitech? Does this also occur if you plug in any other audio devices you may own (if you have any)?
This is happening on Apple earbuds (the old ones with a headphone jack), generic earbuds, and a dual-speaker system from 1998 that still worked for literally everything except minecraft bedrock

Do you by chance have Spatial Sound turned on?
Also, do you have any Windows sound enhancements turned on? (check Settings > System > Sound > All sound devices > audio enhancements)
