Break any block.
Look at the animation.
Observed results:
When blocks are broken, they sometimes jitter in midair before they land.
Expected results:
When blocks are broken, they don't jitter in midair before they land.

When you break blocks, the resulting item always jitters in the air before falling.

Can confirm, affects 1.20.81. This isn't the easiest thing to capture on video, especially on a lower-end device, so I recommend reproducing this in-game for the best results. This issue relates to MCPE-180728
There appears to be a noticeable difference in the drop animation between Java and Bedrock. The one on java is much smoother and more consistent, meanwhile on bedrock blocks/items will routinely do a slight "jitter" midair as they drop. I've also attached a video of me replicating this on java, so that they can both be compared, however as I previously noted, this is best observed in-game as there does appear to be lag in my video.
Steps to reproduce:
Break any block on bedrock.
Break any block on java.
Compare the differences between the animations.
Observed results:
The animations are inconsistent between both editions, resulting in java's having a much smoother transition than bedrock's, which tends to "jitter" midair.
Expected results:
Bedrock's block dropping animation needs to be improved so that when blocks are broken, they don't jitter in midair before they land.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
