When transferring my world from Legacy Minecraft: PS4 Edition ("Editions") to Bedrock, I am losing all building blocks from my inventory and chests. This also includes other placeable objects that may not be considered proper blocks (such as Torches, Saplings, Flowers, Scaffolds, and Shulker Boxes). I have transferred my world several times with the same outcome. This issue is preventing me from comfortably migrating my world to the Bedrock edition of the game.

Sorry, I just realized I posted this to “Bedrock Dedicated Server” by accident. This issue is for standard Bedrock edition on PS4.
I have seen other reports about issues with converting blocks whose IDs were split (instead of using one ID with different blocks under it) in recent Bedrock versions when converting from Xbox One Edition. If you have this issue on PS4, it will cause improper conversion of colored wool, concrete, and terracotta, as well as improper conversion of many wood-related blocks like logs. Have you observed any issues like those?
I can also confirm this only affects placable blocks. But, I did notice a few of my items that are placable did properly transfer over, like the crops or the brewing stand (see screenshots).
This issue might be fixed in the latest Preview - if you are able to check in the latest Preview on PlayStation it would be appreciated, so we can verify what needs to be done. More information about joining the Preview can be found here: aka.ms/PreviewFAQ

If the issue is still occurring, could you please provide a copy of the world save for us to look into?
Here are the steps to copy a world save on PlayStation:
Make sure your BLANK USB stick has been formatted to FAT32
On your PlayStation, go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device > Select Minecraft > Select Saved World to copy > Copy
This should then copy the world save to the USB, which you can share to a file sharing site such as OneDrive, and then share the link.
the error still exists because I'm playing on 1.21, I converted the world from minecraft playstation® 4edition and I still don't have the blocks that I had in the chests on the older version
I'm on PS4. I came back to Minecraft after I stopped playing for 5 years. I happened to experience this problem when I converted my old world to bedrock. I think this bug might've appeared recently. I have a copy of the same world that I converted 5 years ago. It didn't have anything missing. I must have converted it after Bedrock rolled in back in Dec 2019 But the problem I couldn't get trophies. I decided a few days ago to get the old world and convert it again. This time I lost items and can get trophies. The lost items were blocks like Wool, Wood related, Chests, Shulker Boxes, Stone related Blocks, Compact Blocks like Coal Block, Iron Block, Redstone blocks, etc. Even the Beacon which I need for a trophy.
I can also confirm that I downloaded Preview. I converted the old world. IT didn't delete any items after the world conversion
