iPad Pro (M4) Magic Keyboard Trackpad not working

I just got my new iPad Pro 13-inch (M4) and have the new Magic Keyboard with it as well. I went to play Minecraft when I got home and the keyboard functions work, to move your characters, but using the trackpad to look around does not. It works on my old iPad, but not the new one. Latest iPadOS 17.5 and Minecraft 1.20.81

Same issue here. The game recognizes that you are using a keyboard and trackpad but does not accept the trackpad for camera movement. Clicking the trackpad does let you hit things though. Very weird behavior.

Same issue on iPadOS 17.5.1

Strange that this bug is still not patched.  Might be a driver issue as its still a new touchpad

Reproduced the seemingly-fixed behavior in iPadOS 18 Beta 3 as well. 🎉

Just updated to 1.21.20 and the issue has been fixed. For now…

This ticket can be now be marked as resolved

It seems like this works for the most part initially, but opening certain menus and such appear to break the trackpad support (but not keyboard support)

I am having the same issue with the iPad Air (M3) and the new Magic Keyboard released along side it. Track pad seems to desync when opening certain menus. Hoping to see a fix for this soon.
