[MCPE-182758] Trial Spawners give no loot upon completion in older worlds

I have a Minecraft server that is about 5 years old and it seems Trial Chambers may be bugged in older worlds like this.

Trial Spawners have given no loot at all and I've gone through around 10 or so Trial Chambers. All the chests and pots in the trial chambers were correct, and the pots were the only ways to find Trial Keys if I was lucky, considering the spawners weren't giving me anything.

I even made a new singleplayer world and tried it and it works just fine in the new world.

I even went out tens of thousands of blocks just to be sure it wasn't just a bug with already generated chunks.

I have a 3 year old server that I operate that we launched with the 1.17 update. It is also having this issue of trial chambers not giving loot after the mobs have been defeated.

If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.

On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.
On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds

If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

I could also reproduce for Android device, Here is how to reproduce that i believe 🙂

Download the world file and extract files from .zip file
Import and load a affected world (try compress .zip and rename it to .mcworld for Android)
Try to set creative gamemode command and Locate using /locate structure trial_chambers and teleport to trial chambers location by /tp
Set /gamemode survival to gain activate of trial spawner and then set creative gamemode command
Kill all by using /kill @e command
Observe the trial spawner loot opens

Observed result: ❌ After loaded in older worlds and mobs are died in finish, The trial spawner that opens the loot but the loot items is not able to eject

Expected behavior: When loaded in older worlds and going to trial chambers, the trial spawner would be eject loot after the mobs died in finished.

Same issue, never used experiments. 4+ year old survival world, it has been pruned/edited.

Trial spawners never produce loot AND never spawn anything after initial completion. Same for Ominous Trials.

Same happened to me on my 4+ year old minecraft server. No players could obtain loot from the spawners.
