[MCPE-183191] Cannot customize color of body items from default character creator skins

After the latest update, the hair color is no longer customizable when creating a character from the premade characters.

Steps to reproduce:

Create Character
Select any character (e.x. Makena)
Go to Body -> Bases/Hairs/etc.

Observed result:
The "paint palette" icon no longer appears on the bottom left corner of the character preview window for any default body items.

Expected result:
The "paint palette" icon appears and you are able to customize the color of the default body items.

Also, you can no longer select and change the colour of default eyes. Skins that had these selected before now have blue eyes!
