The Trial Chambers sometimes still generate with empty chests, despite the added new barrel/hopper disposals. You can check on some of the structure here in the seed and coords below:

These remaining empty chests in the trial chamber should either have loot in them, converted to barrels and hoppers, or removed from the trial chamber.
