The texture of spruch leaves and birch leaves is black. If you look at it at the hot bar, it's normal.

Relates to MCPE-185038 as that is a similar bug confirmed to only occur on certain Samsung devices equipped with specific hardware.
Can confirm. After playing for a while, and messing around with my settings, I accidentally discovered a way to reproduce this on Windows. This also affects the grass blocks within a roofed forest (I've created a separate report for this as the circumstances are slightly different MCPE-186393)
This appears to be contingent on both whether smooth lighting is enabled, and what your render distance is currently set to, so if it's set to an extremely far distance, you're much less likely to notice. What I did was simply lower my render distance to the minimum, and that's when you can see the bug on full display.
Steps to reproduce:
Make sure your render distance is set to the minimum and that "smooth lighting" is turned off.
Locate either a forest with birch or spruce trees.
When you've found one of those trees, slowly back away until it has just about reached outside the boundaries of your render distance.
Observed results:
The entire tree's leaves will turn completely black.
Expected results:
These blocks shouldn't turn solid black.
