Solid partial blocks do not produce particles when performing a mace smash

Solid partial blocks do not produce their corresponding particles on Bedrock edition when performing a mace smash. This is a parity issue, as they will produce their respective particles on Java. Relates to MCPE-180583 which is not a parity issue.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Create a small platform using any of the blocks listed below.

  2. Spawn a mob on top of the platform.

  3. Equip a mace and fall from a few blocks up.

  4. Hit the mob before hitting the ground to perform a mace smash.

Observed results:
On bedrock, the blocks won't produce any particles, meanwhile, on Java they will.

Expected results:
These blocks should produce particles when performing a mace smash on both editions.

Examples of affected blocks:

  • Top snow 2+ layers thick

  • Redstone components (repeater, comparator)

  • Carpets

  • Slabs

  • Beds

  • Trapdoors

From additional testing, it appears that slabs will actually produce their respective particles, but only when there isn't another block below. The other blocks (such as those that require support, or beds, for example, will not display any particles regardless.)
