The Bug:
With the Drop 1 2025 Experiment, the spawn events spawn_cold and spawn_warm do not work on pigs, despite pigs having 2 new variants: warm and cold.
Steps to Reproduce:
Run command: /summon pig ~ ~ ~ facing ~ ~ ~ spawn_cold
You get a temperate pig instead of a cold pig. ❌
Run command: /summon pig ~ ~ ~ facing ~ ~ ~ spawn_warm
You get a temperate pig instead of a warm pig. ❌
Expected Results:
With the Drop 1 2025 Experiment, these spawn events will work on pigs for their respective spawn pig.
Observed Results:
Despite pigs having 2 new variants: warm and cold, the the spawn events spawn_cold and spawn_warm do not work on pigs.

This Also reproduce with Chicken and Cow won’t work the event spawn Cold/Warm variants in latest release.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.
Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
