Vibrant Visuals: Old lighting system interference

I was looking for visual issues with the new lighting to provide feedback, here's what I found. It seems the old lighting is bleeding into the new deferred system as demonstrated with the images below. There is a shaded effect on the area despite receiving direct sunlight which should be preventing such a phenomena from happening. What I'm inclined to believe is it's the old vertical based lighting system attempting to still do work in the area but in that process only tints the area. The affected area has a new perfect alignment with the overhanging sandstone above (clouds do not affect this I made sure of that)

Mind you in instances where the sun is not in direct line of sight with the area the tinting/shading effect is invisible. Sounds good on paper but if the deferred lighting is meant to be informing the shading in all situations (which I presume that's what you want) that means it's applying an additional unnecessary layer to the lighting that cost processing power and is overly darkening the lighting of the area; inaccurate lighting
