Mind you in instances where the sun is not in direct line of sight with the area the tinting/shading effect is invisible. Sounds good on paper but if the deferred lighting is meant to be informing the shading in all situations (which I presume that's what you want) that means it's applying an additional unnecessary layer to the lighting that cost processing power and is overly darkening the lighting of the area; inaccurate lighting
