Steps To Reproduce:
Use a ray tracing capable resource pack to turn on Ray Tracing (due to additional bugs this must be done within a world)
Close the game, and reopen it. Ray Tracing should now be activated in settings.
Enter a world right after opening the game.
Expected Result:
Upon opening the game and entering a world, PBR textures should load.
Actual Result:
Instead, initially PBR textures aren’t loaded regardless of the state of the “Allow In-game Graphics Mode Switching” toggle.
Only upon setting the graphics mode switching toggle from the off state to the on state will PBR textures start loading in worlds with Ray Tracing enabled.
The Ray Tracing capable resource pack used to create this bug report is attached. However, this issue will occur regardless of chosen resource pack, as long as it is Ray Tracing capable.

Id add that “allow in game graphics switching" doesnt always work, as a whole RTX is bugged and usually wont load PBR textures. This includes light emitting blocks like glowstone, sea-lanterns, Redstone, or even lava.
Using the temporary fix from the title doesn’t work if you have another texture pack like actions and stuff even on lowest setting so it changes the least textures
Want to add a little note that if you use multiple RTX resource packs like I do, you have to toggle this setting on and off multiple times. I have two RTX packs loaded when I play and toggling on and off once only loads the first set of PBR textures and toggling a second time loads all of them.
