Block textures on mobs turn black, white, green, or yellow in certain viewing angles

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Spawn a snow golem or mooshroom

  2. Move them around, look at them from different angles

Observed Results:
The pumpkin and mushrooms may turn completely black or white depending on the viewing angle. The behavior is not very consistent.

Expected Results:
The pumpkin and mushrooms remain the same.

Notes: HUD visibility seems to affect this behavior sometimes.

I have seen this too it is weird but I am using a fire tablet

This issue, can confirm happens aswell in nintendo swich

can confirm on windows I'm on 1.21.94

this was present on 1.21.100 windows 11, will check on 1.21.101 once I can update.

I noticed it on mooshrooms, and the mushrooms interestingly weren’t white while the game was paused.

I have that with mushroom cows where the mushrooms turned black

I have this with mooshrooms on nintendo switch where the mushrooms turned white
