iOS keyboard covering text box

When i tap on the text box for the keyboard to pop up, the text box remains on the bottom so the keyboard ends up covering it. It doesn’t raise above the keyboard like it should. This is extremely inconvenient as I can’t see what im typing.

Note by @unknown:
This comment helpfully points out that as a temporary workaround, turning your device over once or twice can help make the text box appear in the correct place.
Update:
This issue was related to the iOS keyboard and should be fixed by updating to iOS 11.2+

This has nothing to do with with a third party keyboard... it happens on the default iOS keyboard on an iPhone 6s

Yeah it happened my to my iPad Air 2 too

In my iPad Air too, it happens with iOS 11 new keyboard :c

I've noticed this seems to happen only after clicking the slash button.

I’ve found a kind of solution.
If you textbox disappeared,
turn your display over.
And if you still don’t see it,
turn your display over again.

This is exactly what is happening to me. Ever since I updated my iPad Mini to ios11 I have been unable to see what I'm typing because the keyboard covers the text box! All of my friends who play mc on ios have this same issue! It's extremely annoying not being able to see what you are typing so I hope they come up with a fix soon!

ios 11.2 update is out and the update fixes this bug

Chat-filter
Yes this is still happening for me as well using IPad Pro with newest version of Minecraft . Chat keyboard covers screen also chat-filter filters everything I type for the other players. I can see all of their texts in chat but everything for me comes up all xxxxxxxxx for them. Other players use android and win10
