Potion effect indicator icons are missing

The potion effect indicator icons that are usually present on the right side of the screen, when I have a potion effect applied will seemingly disappear at random. I know I have potions applied because I see the squiggly lines of the potion effect and if I press the [Z] key, I can see the potion effects I have applied. The potion affect indicator icons that are supposed to be visible on the right side of the screen and will be visible for many play sessions, but at random during a certain place session, they will just disappear from the screen entirely and the only way to view that I have a potion effect is to press the [Z] key. This bug has been plaguing me for the past four updates now. I originally thought the issue was caused by a resource pack so! deleted all resource packs and add-ons. The issue persists after deleting all resource packs and add-ons. I have reset the game as well, but the issue still stands.
