Steps to Reproduce:
Ensure you are running the latest version of Minecraft Preview.
Place a valid resource pack file (
.mcpackor extracted folder) into the correct directory:Windows:
%appdata%\Roaming\Minecraft Bedrock Preview\Users\Shared\games\com.mojang\resource_packs\Android:
/storage/emulated/0/games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
Launch the game and navigate to Settings > Global Resources. The added pack should appear under "My Packs".
Select the resource pack and activate it by moving it to the "Active" column.
Create a new world (or load an existing one) with the resource pack supposedly enabled.
Observe the in-game textures, sounds, or other assets.
Expected Result:
The activated global resource pack should load correctly. The game's appearance and sounds should change according to the pack's content.
Actual Result:
The resource pack does not take effect. The game continues to use the default assets, even though the pack is listed as active in the Global Resources menu. This issue occurs consistently.

That’s a VERY annoying bug, specially if you use a resource pack that ‘fixes’ stuff like adding the fast craft button on mobile
This bug is still an issue in the 26.0.27 preview.
It’s worth noting that the packs sometimes apply after closing and reopening the game, but it does not always work as expected.
Fixed in 26.0.28 preview - mentioned in the changelog, but I also tested in-game to be sure.
