Villagers don't breed but all conditions are met

Sometimes villagers don't breed even when all conditions are met. I'm providing a link to my survival world download from realms.

These villagers were kidnapped from the naturally generated village. There are definitely no other villages or villagers within more than 100 blocks. I gave them several stacks of carrots via droppers and they've picked them up. I've traded with them dozen times. I've moved doors close to them, the doors are valid. Waited about an hour. Nothing helps.

When I've switched to the creative mode in the same copy, removed this two villagers and created two another via eggs at the same chamber, they started to breed immediately after I have given them carrots. What is the difference?

The same behaviour sometimes occurred when I was testing this design in creative testing world: the villagers breed as expected for some time and then without any visible reason they stop and I have to replace them with the new ones.

This definitely looks like a bug.

Please check out the provided world download. The artificial village is right in front of the player.

Is this an old world of yours? Before they added trading? I can get villagers breeding in multiple world's by trapping them, and placing 23 doors. Also making a farm for the farmer to harvest helps a lot. But even without a brown coat villager they still breed. Add more doors.

@Shannon Thomas thanks for your comment. The world was initially created in Oct'16 and then imported into realms in June'17. I'm trying to create the breeder just under the classic iron golem farm design with 32 doors. I didn't work with 32 doors too, then I removed them and moved the village lower and closer to the villagers. And again - if I replace this legitimately got villagers with the new ones in creative mode using eggs the breeder starts to work immediately.

I've just explored the world using MCPE Viz and it shows that the "Willing" flag of both villagers is set to "1" (true). And the village is created and it's center is where it expected to be. So the villagers are both willing, standing on the same solid block inside the village boundaries, they are permanently turning face-to-face to each other and back to me, but hearts and babies doesn't appear 😞

I can confirm that for some reason these villagers (in the test map provided by the reporter) won't breed.

They were at height y220 (approx) so I moved those two villagers to a lower location (around y70), but they still wouldn't breed, even with plenty of valid 'houses' nearby, plenty of food thrown to them, and I'd unlocked trades with them.

I have the same issue. I'm not sure when it started but I noticed it in 1.1 I'm on 1.2.0.18 now and it's still an issue.

Everything that happened to op is exactly what is happening for me as well.
