Issue still persists in 1.2.13.10
Mobs still spawning on slabs, stairs, glass, fence gates, etc.

This is easily reproduced by opening a world in creative and using commands to fill in space with transparent blocks.
Mobs spawning on glass again in 1.2.13.6
I have been experincing this same situation, however for me it happens when saving on glass.
In the latest beta build 1.2.13.6 I have seen this happen with mobs as well. Upon loading my game (sometimes) I see mobs up on top of my glass dome. I think they may have teleporting up from a cave below.

I'm glad you enjoyed my world! I don't know if you seen it, but in new town (the glass dome area) inside the palace, in the door to the left there's a bunch of minerals with a button, if you press it you go into the mines and my slime farm. I'm really proud of my slime farm, I built it right before they botched the slime spawns, so it's not really functioning properly, but it looks cool.
I've never shared my world before, just some pics on reddit.
Sorry for the extra comments, just wanted to say it runs fine for me in 1.2.9, but it's in the beta 1.2.10.1 that is the problem

Hi here is a link to my world through one drive, its 750mb in size so this seemed like the best way to do it.

It's one world, many different saves. It was started and has always been windows 10.
I play with a texture pack, but I always take it off for the betas, I also have tried numerous time without the texture pack.
However, as noted above I was able to join in one saved instance (even with the texture pack enabled) where I wasn't at my base and upon rezoning into my base via the nether my game instantly crashed.
In 1.2.6.2 beta my slime farm was producing 500 slime/hour.
Once I updated to the release version of 1.2.6 my slime farm now doesn't spawn any slimes. If I go to peaceful then back to hard mode 1-3 slimes will spawn then back to nothing.
This issue is fixed in 1.2.5.12!!!!!!!!!!!
Tested in creative and survival.

I use a xbox controller and every time you click a trigger button it clicks it 2 or 3 times, so placing blocks, opening doors, buttons, pretty much anything you can interact with is broken.

I've seen 3 mobs spawn inside my highly lit palace. I seen one of them spawn right next to a glowstone during the day.
@Jason Keswick, yes I have tried that multiple times, thankyou for the suggestion though.
My leaves and fire render through stone blocks at a certain distance too.
