For both PS4 and PS5, my friend and I have a world, and both our axes (with nothing on our bodies other than the axe) have tried fishing and trading… Nothing seems to work; it isn’t getting repaired.

I don’t think my issue aligns with the one you provided, it seems like their tool is still getting repaired in their video

- No add-ons or data packs were used whatsoever, it’s pure vanilla Minecraft.
I am having the same issues on Bedrock for PC. None of my mending enchantments are actually repairing. The mending effect was working fine last night but it hasn't worked since I logged in today.
Do the comments on MCPE-240234 describe the issue occurring? As Mojang removed the tool bobbing animation when tools are getting repaired in a relatively recent update.
No, not thw issue i am having. My experience lev3ll is going up with xp but my mending tools are not repairing.
