Using a standard chicken farm / chicken cooker design, eggs will once again hit the baby chickens, causing them to bounce up, hit the lava, and die. Even if you pulse the lava and don’t leave it out all the time, some babies still get hit and die. This farm type is very wide spread and there's not an easy workaround to this bug without a complete redesign and teardown.
This issue was solved around 2017/2018 but i cannot find the original report. I think the previous fix to this was making it so babies didn't bounce when hit by an egg (from dispensers).
How to reproduce:
build a similar setup to whats shown in the picture below
fire a bunch of eggs from the dispenser, and you’ll see that some of the babies get shot up into the lava and die
this affects hot, cold and normal baby chickens and all types of chicken eggs
Expected result:
all babies should stand in pile and not get pushed around by other eggs that are fired, and should not die in the lava until they grow up into adults.

Is MCPE-18079 the report you were looking for?
Also what is the observed result of this bug? Is this simply a regression of MCPE-18079, or is this an entirely new issue (likely caused by 26.10)?
