Summary
Nintendo Switch reports a "Not Enough Space" error when attempting to update Marketplace content, despite Minecraft's Storage Management screen showing significantly less than the documented 2 GB storage limit.
Steps to Reproduce
Launch Minecraft on Nintendo Switch.
Open the Marketplace.
Attempt to update owned Marketplace content (mods/add-ons).
The download fails with a "Not Enough Space" error.
Expected Result
Marketplace content should update successfully because the storage usage reported by Minecraft is well below the 2 GB Nintendo Switch limit.
Actual Result
Marketplace content cannot be updated and Minecraft displays a "Not Enough Space" error.
Additional Information
This account appears to be affected by an issue similar to MCPE-36670. However, the storage usage reported by Minecraft is substantially below the documented 2 GB limit.
The Minecraft Storage Management screen reports:
Worlds: 516.5 MB
World Templates: 387.2 MB
Resource Packs: 175.9 MB
Behaviour Packs: 46.6 MB
Total reported usage: 1126.2 MB
The following maintenance actions have already been performed:
Marketplace Cache cleared
Download Cache cleared
Screenshot Cache cleared
Despite this, Marketplace downloads and updates continue to fail due to insufficient space.
I have attached screenshots showing:
The Nintendo Switch save data size.
The Marketplace "Not Enough Space" error.
The Minecraft Storage Management screen showing current storage usage.
One possibility is that Minecraft is counting additional storage usage that is not displayed within the Storage Management screen. If so, it would be helpful for players if all storage contributing to the 2 GB Nintendo Switch limit was visible within the game, allowing users to understand and manage their storage usage correctly.
The attached screenshots may also help identify any discrepancy between the storage reported by Nintendo Switch and the storage reported within Minecraft itself.

Just looking at 1 of the screenshots, it appears that you are using a Nintendo Switch 2, which has more storage than the Nintendo Switch. So then, HOW did this happen (by the way, I am on a Nintendo Switch 2 and am experiencing the same thing)?
@Matikiscool - Notably, this has nothing to do with how much space is available on your switch. Nintendo has a system wide limit for all games of 2GB per save file. My understanding is that minecraft can grow until its save file (all worlds, templates, addons, etc) reaches 2GB and will start saying “out of space”.
This issue is specifically related to when the save file in the system is at 2GB, but the storage in game shows a value that is less.
Same issue. The resolution will not if it restates the steps the OP has shared. Users should be allowed to see what the data leak/bloat is coming from. With the locked system of the Nintendo Switch, we don’t have the ability to view any of this outside the game.
The latest update (v26.44) adds a Local Storage bar to the settings page. This bar is showing 1.6GB of 1.72GB used (interestingly less than the 2GB the Switch reports the save file as being).
Despite the screen reporting 0.12GB space free, the Marketplace still does not let us perform a 50MB (0.05GB) update to one of the DLCs.
I have tried downloading an addon for bedrock on my PC and am experiencing the same issue my kids are finding on their Switches.
"Not Enough Space - 448MB" and then in manage storage "500.94GB of 952.12GB used".
I thought this issue was exclusive to the Switch due to the way that save data is managed, but it affecting my PC is ridiculous.
This bug essentially renders the whole marketplace unusable.
