Opening the keyboard causes Minecraft to crash on mobile

Everytime i open the mobile keyboard to type anywhere in the game, it causes the game to close, it doesnt matter if it's on chat or menus, everytime i open/close the keyboard to write, the game crashes ever since the mew update.

I play on an Motorola with an Android 16.
