The bug:
Portal teleportation using click in spectator mode is missing. Java Edition’s 26.3 snapshot 4 added a click interaction with portals to teleport to the other dimension in spectator mode, making a valid parity issue.
(MCPE-174382 is considered kind of outdated of the parity line even though that was works as intended in response to MCPE-156684’s fix, as that was an older report at the time. Yes, we had MCPE-156684 get fixed, but that covered direct walk in as unintended then and that report was fixed and both of these reports were considered resolved before Java Edition’s 26.3 snapshot 4 functionality was ever added to begin with.)
This is newly missing spectator functionality, not other functionality that was missing in spectator mode when spectator came to Bedrock.
I don’t want to see spectator mode so incomplete in Bedrock…
Steps to Repro:
Make a nether portal
Enter the portal
Go back to the overworld using the nether portal in the nether
Go to spectator mode
Try clicking on it.
Observed Result:
Player is not teleported.
Expected Result:
Player is teleported, provided the other side of the portal was already generated to begin with.
