When using Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.42 on Windows PC, the new Cloud Storage feature does not appear. The World Storage screen only shows Local storage, and there is no Cloud storage tab or Back Up button, even though Cloud Storage is documented as being available in the 26.40 release.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition 26.42 on Windows.
2. Sign in to a Microsoft account.
3. Open Settings → Storage (or World Storage).
4. Observe the available storage options.
Expected Result:
The Storage screen should display both Local and Cloud storage options, along with the Back Up button and cloud storage status, allowing Windows worlds to be backed up to the cloud.
Actual Result:
Only Local storage is displayed. There is no Cloud storage option, no cloud storage status, and no Back Up button.

This is because it needs to be disabled to prevent a softlock.
To allow us to address some issues discovered, we have temporarily disabled cloud world storage on Windows. (MCPE-241385)
Which from a player who got (had to get) softlocked for using Mario skins on Switch, is kinda a good news.

Please note, that mechanics of the game may change between updates.
Things such as graphics, sounds, world creation, biomes, redstone, villagers, and animals may not work the same in current versions.

It was working in 26.40 but now in .42 it’s not.
