Very Strange Creative mode glitch (I cannot describe it very well so please read carefully)

As you all might know, there is a new creative inventory. Well, I found a bug in it already. The 3X3 crafting grid shows up in the inventory, but you can still only craft 2X2 recipes by hand. The crafting table can be used for this purpose still however. What I think might have happened is the developers accidentally put the wrong crafting grid in the creative inventory. This happens for pocket UI and (As far as I know), Windows 10 UI.
