Hostile mobs spawning on stained glass

Can confirm this bug as well, A large area outside of my base has been dug to bedrock, with a glass top at layer 64, almost every night its crawling with hostile mobs. I also use glass in the ceiling of each of my floors of my base to prevent spawns and to control water ice streams which carry items throughout my base, each layer has many mobs within it, where none used to generate in the previous console version.

I was able to replicate this bug, but with various types of "transparent" blocks such as: ice, glass, stairs, etc.

I can confirm this happens on Xbox in my realms server also.

Also confirmed with carpets. Most of my survival builds used carpet to prevent hostile mob spawns, but now they're everywhere. I hope this gets fixed soon.
