DLC not shared on Xbox One anymore

All texture/skins packs that were purchased through Xbox Store for Xbox One Edition were available to all user accounts on the console. On the new version, I am able to install the DLC though the new marketplace for my account (which paid for them), but they are no longer available on my childrens xbox accounts. This seems like a massive step backwards!

doesn't work on 1.2.1 either. I haven't been able to get a straight answer from anyone on this issue either.

not a bug as far as I know(I could be wrong) but it goes by accounts instead of just your Xbox

I spoke with Minecraft devs. They said they don't know what is going on with it and to speak with xbox support. Xbox support said to come here. So I did. DLC needs to be shared like it always has been!

I spoke to Xbox and they confirmed that the license should be shared to all family users. They have elevated it to high support and promised to get back to me within 72 hours.

They were not impressed that Mojang had not responded on forums.

I know what you mean! I'm completely frustrated with this whole issue. Let me know what they tell you please.

Purchases are linked to the Xbox Live account with which they were originally made.

If you own Minecraft (Bedrock) on other devices, your purchased content will also be available there through the store, since they are linked to your Xbox account.

Not an acceptable answer. It is the policy of Xbox that the Xbox Live features and games are shared between all users on the designated Home Console. The same way I purchase the game, but any user on the console can play it and go online. You are restricting something that was NOT restricted in the original console version of the game.

I will be making a complaint to Microsoft because as far as im concerned you are contravening the policies they set out when buying the console.

I'm not happy about this at all! I've already tried the feedback and community links. Ya'll are costing families more money and jeopardizing their security.

I have raised a complaint with Microsoft, seeing as they own Mojang, perhaps they can sort out the poor response.

I hope so cuz this is not right. I shouldn't have to put my account info on my kids accounts. And I sure as heck am not buying a bunch of gift cards. One income family living on a budget can't enjoy the same features they have been enjoying for years. I'm fuming mad.
