[MCPE-30198] Cannot move diagonally while sneaking in cobwebs on soul sand while drawing back a bow at excessive coordinates

Place soul sand down, place a cobweb on top of each block of soul sand, then walk through the webs diagonally in a direction away from (0,0) while sneaking and drawing back a bow.

The player will walk diagonally as one would expect when close to the origin of the world, but if done so after 32767 or below -32768 on both the X and Z axes, either the player will completely stop moving, or will be confined to movement on a single axis instead of the direction the player is facing.

Repro Steps:

Start a new world
Teleport using command: /tp -32800 ~ -32800
Punch a 2x2 hole in the ground
Place down four soul sand blocks with cobwebs on top
Equip a bow and arrow
Shift to sneak, and draw the bow and hold
Now walk backwards diagonally through the cob webs (hold A and S, or move joystick to bottom left)
Take note of the direction of movement

Observed Results:
You are unable to walk diagonally, but can only move sideways or straight back.

Expected Results:
The diagonal movement should not be hindered when travelling large distances.

Things gradually break at excessive coordinates. Due to floating point precision errors, there are always slow speeds that become impossible.

Think of the world as composed of slices. You can move from one slice to another if you’re "attempted speed" is fast enough. However, if you are attempting to move less than a half slice per second, you get stuck in your current slice.

I’m no developer, but this bug may not be possible to fix. It shouldn’t affect players anyway; most people will not travel this far from the spawn point, place cobwebs on soul sand, or try to sneak while drawing back a bow, let alone combine all of these conditions.

Maybe at X / Z coordinates 262,144 the movement isn't smooth anymore and the sunflowers flicker. This incident occurred if you went to a place further away. We coordinate my city has reached more than 60,000 X / Z. This causes it to become glitchy. Gamepedia far lands

This is a limitation of the engine itself and the only way to fix is to change the engine to something past 32 bit.

You don't even need to sneak for this

If you cross 32768 while doing this but not sneaking you can also stop moving and you can sometimes clip though the ground.

After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
